Ligoro

Description

Ligoro finds its origin in the Esperanto words ‘Ligo Oro’ – translating into ‘Golden Connection’. It is based on the Japanese Art and Philosophy of Kintsugi. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise. As a philosophy, kintsugi is similar to the Japanese philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, an embracing of the flawed or imperfected. This Philosophy underpins a fundamental belief that I have around coaching and growth. Whatever it is that we seek to change – we will always have to turn inward and create a better awareness of who we are or who we want to be. This increased self-awareness will allow us to make more conscious choices and decisions, aligned to what really matters to us. Every decision or choice we make from this higher self-awareness, allows us to become a bit more of that person that we want to be. This self-awareness is an essential steppingstone to a higher self-regard and self-love, which contributes to better relationships and overall happiness. Supporting people to stand in their power and be the best version of themselves is at the heart of this company’s purpose.
